The vision of PAA is to close the Precision Agriculture loop ensuring that farmers obtain profit and production gains through the implementation of variable rate technology.
Our clients range from large corporate farming enterprises through to family run farms operating in the broadacre cropping, livestock, horticulture and viticulture industries.
PAA has been a market leading in the use of EM and Gamma survey technology in Australia. Detailed R&D and field trials of the EM and Gamma survey techniques have lead to significant knowledge of the identification and management of different soil types to maximise profit for the grower.
PAA is renowned as the go-to company for the integration of Variable Rate technology with new and existing Ag equipment. The flexible and easy to use RATEX controller system developed by PAA has been integrated with numerous 3rd party spreader, seeder and sprayer controllers, reducing complexity often associated with the field implementation of VR.
PAA has a long standing relationship with Precision Cropping Technologies (PCT) and has worked closely with PCT to implement software tools such as automated processing of soil, NVDI and yield data along with variable rate prescription map creation.
In March 2018, PAA was acquired by Roesner Investments Pty Ltd. The Roesner family have a long history in the manufacture of Agricultural equipment and development of new technologies, having manufactured the Marshall brand of fertiliser spreaders since the 1960’s.
After the acquisition, PAA’s well proven RATEX controller system was merged with the Multispread MDC app to create the new brand, i4M. The i4M range includes implement controllers, machine monitoring solutions, mobile apps and a cloud based system for the management and handling of prescription maps.
PAA works closely with a network of Agronomy partners who have vast knowledge of local farming conditions.
PAA stays true to its original vision of closing the Precision Agriculture loop and maximising the profit of its clients.
